Annual loan review and settlement support

We check in once a year, and we are still the ones who pick up when something changes.

First appointment
20-30 min review call

Most of what goes wrong with a loan happens years after settlement. A fixed period ends and nobody notices. An offset account sits unused. A redraw request is knocked back on a technicality. A change of job means the structure no longer fits the household. Every client goes into an annual review cycle at settlement, and we handle the lender conversation instead of sending you to a call queue with a reference number.

What is included

  • Annual review of structure, features and repayments
  • Diary reminder well before any fixed period ends
  • Help with redraw, offset and repayment change requests
  • A straight answer on whether it is time to move lenders

02How it runs

5 steps, in this order

Typical first appointment: 20-30 min review call. You are told which step we are on, without having to ask.

  1. 01 We diarise your review date on the day you settle
  2. 02 You get a call or a short form before the review
  3. 03 We check the loan against the current panel
  4. 04 We recommend staying or moving, in writing
  5. 05 If nothing needs doing, we say so and leave you alone

03Asked often

Before you ring

If your question is not here, it is probably on the FAQ page, and if it is not there either, ring and ask.

What happens when my fixed period ends?

We contact you before it does, so you are choosing what happens next rather than being moved onto whatever the lender applies by default.

Do I have to switch every time you review?

No, and most years you will not. Plenty of reviews end with a short note saying the loan is still doing its job and to enjoy the rest of your year.

What if my situation changes between reviews?

Ring us then rather than waiting. A new job, a baby, a business, a separation or a renovation all change what your loan should be doing, and the earlier we know the more options are still open.
